God made the world, therefore, God makes the rules

De 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

One Consequence:  for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

One act of disobedience:  Gen 3:6...and he did eat.

One result:  Ro 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

When dealing with life what is the most precious of commodities?

What is the most important component of our physical bodies to sustain life? Many items can be argued for this position, but when boiled down, the base component that feeds life, is the blood.

God chose this most important item to be the basis for reconciliation.

Le 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

For any wrong that is done in life, there is a consequence, a payment. There are set rules for safely skydiving, If I choose to skydive without a parachute there will be a consequence, and a payment for skydiving wrong.

In life there are certain commands laid down by God top live safely, so that at the end of this physical life, things will end well.

Living foolishly and ignoring those commands will result in the same kind of ending incorrect skydiving will result in, Only the repercussions will be eternal.

For centuries God used the act of animal sacrifice to picture the ultimate solution that would come, so the relationship between himself and mankind could be mended.

Only the purest lamb could be used, no spot, no injury could mark it, this was to picture that only purity was able to make up for the wrong mankind would do

Le 1:10 ¶ And if his offering be of the flocks, namely, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt sacrifice; he shall bring it a male without blemish.

1Pe 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Payment for Sin was , and is required, but not just any payment we think is acceptable. Only payment that was laid down long ago by God himself is acceptable. God the Father would send his Son to become human, to live the perfect life we are not capable of living. To be the perfect spotless lamb.

The Key

Jesus came and stood between us and the judge of the universe, and offered himself in our place. Because mankind has been sentenced to death because of Adam’s sin. Jesus Humanity as well as Deity, made him the only one able and willing to be our substitute. He died physically, when he had done no wrong, so we could live spiritually through eternity.

Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

Tit 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Thus the question, will you listen? Will you look deeper? Will you seek Him out? Or will you choose to overlook everything God has planned out, and set into motion to reach out to you?

Isa 14:27 For the LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it? and his hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
